Italy: An Appreciation of the West

Architecture serves as a backdrop for human activities. It also records the dwellers' perceptions of living. This series shows how Joseph Lo uses his Nikon FM2 to express his appreciation of Italian architectural language and space.

Religion, Architecture, Piazza, Water, Light and People all interwoven on this historic platform--Italy, are unfolding the paradox of life: changing and unchanging, dynamic and static. You may enjoy a photographic journey of Italy through the artist's eyes.
