Dao: Way of Life

One night after I came out of meditation, 
I visualized the cursive style of the character dao      道 (or tao, the way of life) 
in the form of a meditating Buddhist monk.  
This led to the creation of my first piece of work 
that combines calligraphy and brush painting.
